Imelda Marcos & remixes

As I reported earlier this year, Roisin is set to feature on a concept album based on the life of former first lady of the Philippines Imelda Marcos. The album is produced by David Byrne and Norman Cook, aka Fat Boy Slim.

It has now been confirmed that the title of the track that features Roisin is Don’t You Agree? The album will be released on February 23rd 2010 via Nonesuch Records and comes packaged with 100-page book detailing the project and a DVD.

In the meantime, Roisin has stated on Facebook that she is currently in the process of picking remixes of her next single Momma's Place.

Ooh, so Momma's Place will be more of a proper single then if we're getting remixes. Hope there's a physical (CD! or CD and Vinyl haha)...

...with a cool cover on it and a cool picture and A PROPER FONT. It needs to look finished and perfect, so Róisín. I liked the design and the photos on the Overpowered album and the single covers. Especially the round sticker-looking-thing was a nice touch.
